Care Instructions
Tips from vrexalonclox to help your bouquets last.
First Steps
When you bring your arrangement home, place it in a clean vase with room-temperature water. Trim stems at an angle about an inch from the bottom before placing in water. Remove any leaves that would sit below the water line to keep the water clean.
Water and Placement
Refresh Water
Change the water every one to two days. Recut stems slightly when you do so. This helps flowers take up water and stay fresh.
Avoid Direct Sun
Keep your bouquet away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and drafts. A cool room out of direct light is ideal.
Temperature
Cooler room temperatures can help extend vase life. Avoid placing arrangements near fruit, which releases ethylene and may shorten longevity.
Long-Term Care
Small habits that make a big difference.
Remove wilted blooms as they appear so the rest of the arrangement continues to look good. If you received flower food from vrexalonclox, use it with the first water and follow the packet instructions. For questions about a specific bouquet, contact us at vrexalonclox.ddd.
Dried & Preserved
Some stems can be hung upside down in a dry, dark place to dry. Ask us when you order if your bouquet is suitable for drying.
Reusing Vases
Wash vases with soap and water between uses. Clean containers can help prevent bacteria that may shorten vase life.
